Office 2007 trial install corrupted existing Office 2003 software

I downloaded the trial of MS Office Professional, but didn't
want to keep it. I followed the directions to remove the trial from my
computer, but now my 2003 versions won't work! It keeps asking me to
insert the disk, which I don't have because it was preloaded on my
computer when I bought it from Dell. Does anyone know how to remedy this
problem or how I can obtain the Office 2003 software to fix it?

Call Dell, they supplied it.
My experience with Dell PC's is that they supply the software cd's &
recovery cd's, perhaps you've lost them?

RE: Office 2007 trial install corrupted existing Office 2003 software

Oh dear... Well to start with you'll find no support for the trial unless MS
gives you a grace case. If your lucky you can uninstall 2007 and then
reinstall 2003..heres the kicker..2003 is now out of print..some of the
vendors like Dell or whoever may still have oem copies they can sell ya. Now
some OEMs actually have Office installing from a LIS on a hidden
partition..good luck...and hope ya don't have to manrip it :)
