Office 2007 and the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack

I have a user who just installed Office 2007. He now remembers that he
installed the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack prior to installing Office 2007.
Will removing the Compatibility Pack cause any problems with his new Office
2007 install?

Thanks.

Re: Office 2007 and the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack

Hi Chief,

It won't usually hurt anything to have it installed or remove it, although you may want to run a repair/reinstall of Office 2007
after removing it and restarting the PC.

Re: Office 2007 and the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack

I was thinking that very thing.

I'm wondering if this compatibility pack is having any impact on why this
person can't get OC 2007 to run.

thanks for the response.
