Picture Manager default image size

When I open a square GIF in Picture Manager, the default size is 960 Pixels
by 515 Pixels. Why is it not square like the original image? I really need
to edit many square images at one time. Hope someone can help.

Re: Picture Manager default image size

Does the .gif have a background? Have you tried opening the image in Paint or
some other editing program? www.getpaint.net is free as well as
www.irfanview.com.

Re: Picture Manager default image size

Mary, My square gifs are line drawings converted from a .dxf to a .gif in a
program called AutoSketch (AutoDesk). The AutoSketch page is white, it's
square and I went back to make sure there was only one layer. The square
GIFs open as rectangles in Paint also. I've opened photos in Picture Manager
and their sizes are correct. But all my square Gifs open in Picture Manager
as rectangles 960 pixels x 515 pixels. I've tried many sizes in AutoSketch
but always the same rectangle in Picture Manager. Thanks.
