| Office Configuration Failed event viewer 11729 I am in the middle of our office 2007 upgrade. I have created an MSP file and i use a logon script at start up that points to the file share and starts installation. We are using xp sp2, server 2003 sp2 all system fully up to date with installer 3.1. I have two machines in the OU in which the logon script applies. It is a very basic script for now. The first couple of machines i tested i booted up the PC and CTRL ALT DEL showed for 2 minutes and then i saw the office 2007 installation progress bar. It worked fine and all was good once i logged on. My problem is i am still testing and without changing anything i just added another machine to the OU and it never appears with the office progress bar. You see and hear the hard drive working away as if it is about to install like the successfull ones i have done but office never installs. i am getting on error in event viewer (office 2007 shared configuration failed 11729). I have rebuilt the machine and tried when fully patched and completely bare. It does not even work on the machine when i manually apply the script. We have the volume license and media through the select agreement however i am about to rule out it could be a licenese issue. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated. Derek. |
