| Word font problems Hi, I installed OfficeXP and Word fonts will not work. Excel allows me to select and use all fonts that are installed in the directory \windows\fonts, but Word only shows about 10 fonts, none of them being the usual "Times new roman' or 'Arial', etc. I reinstalled the software but still the same problem. On checking again, PowerPoint has the same problem so only Excel has fonts working. Any ideas to help would be greatly appreciated, I already lost 4 hours trying to reinstall, what a waste unfortunately. Thanks, Rod |

| Re: Word font problems Hi Rod, In Word 2002's (XP) File=>Print check to see if you've selected a TrueType capable printer as the default. Without a printer choice that can use the fonts Word won't make the fonts available to a document. ========== <<"atholl" <atholl@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:8B010489-1174-43C0-9DDA-9AA81031EC68@microsoft.com...
