Use group policy to install the compatibility pack to network pcs.
Would like to update the msi with the sp1 msp. Ran the command:
msiexec /a <path> o12conv.msi /p <path> o12convspi-en-us.msp

The command runs, you see the installer run and disappear, but no
files get updated as they're supposed to, file dates don't change on
the msi, nothing. If you then run the msi, you get the compaitiblity
pack with no service pack. Tried shortfilesnames=true, no luck. I've
tried this on a number of servers/pcs with no success. I know the
command paths are correct because if I intentionally make either path
incorrect, I get an error.

Here's the log, which does indicate that it's succesful at the
bottom. The debug errors are the beginning relate the version of
office that's installed I think, which shouldn't matter because I'm
not tring to run the update, but update an administrative
installation. Any idea why it won't update the msi?
