Microsoft Office Document Imaging

I got Office 2007 for my laptop when Microsoft was giving away the free
software for the product launch and I am unable to use the Document Imaging
program now to open .mdi files. I tried to look in Add/Remove Programs and
Change as other posts suggest, but I just get a quick box that says Setup is
retrieving necessary files and then it disappears. Since I don't have an
actual CD since this was a free download from Microsoft, how can I add this
program as it wasn't added by default in 2007?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give on this!!
