office 2007 classic toolbar

Is there a free download to restore my Office 2007 menu to a classic 2003
(user friendly) one ?
I have taken a look at several (at cost) options and don't feel that we
should have to pay for a microsoft mistake

So why buy 2007? Just use 2003 if you like it.

There are a couple of options:

http://www.addintools.com/english/menuword/ (I don't know if this one is
free)

http://pschmid.net/blog/2007/04/20/111 (Pat has two versions of his
software, and one of them is free)

And the reason you didn't know is that you didn't do your research. Microsoft did - http://blogs.msdn.com/jensenh. Not Microsoft's mistake.

Because it isn't the one you want to hear? Just because it is true and
you don't like it certainly doesn't make it bad.

Why didn't Microsoft give an option for the Classic Menus?

This has been discussed to death, please read the archives for this
group for your answer.

Most Usenet groups are archived on Google Groups, to search archives of
a group go to:

http://groups.google.com and enter the name of the group in the "search
for a group" box in the middle of the page. Select this group from the
list that comes up and type a key word or phrase into the search box.
