| Re: Microsoft Office Document Imaging Humm, that sounds more like a resources issue. Are your temporary folders cleaned out? I was going to see if I could find something about it in the Microsoft KB but it is acting up and says unavailable for me at the moment. | Re: Microsoft Office Document Imaging I have cleaned everything I can think of. temps cookies stopped all programs that are not needed for xp to run. I searched the KB and found several questions just like mine but nobody had an answer! the map is an image 30x34 inches scanneed in as a tif. (2.58MB) I have a 8.5x11 inch doc scanned in as a tif (2.55 MB) that I can make the annotations permanent on. I have to get a map the is no more than 40KB to save permanent. (i have about 263 maps and is the same on all) "Bob I" wrote: > Humm, that sounds more like a resources issue. Are your temporary > folders cleaned out? | Re: Microsoft Office Document Imaging I just tried what you are attempting but with a 3.454 Meg G4 tif. Office 2003 MODI and 1 gb ram. And went like a champ. Please note that when you "make annotations permanent" it's wanting to write to disk. Is the File on "C", I actually did it on the desktop. And then tried write protecting it and then it wanted to know where to put the copy when I tried to make permanent. | Re: Microsoft Office Document Imaging I just put the file on my desktop and write protected it and it asked for a place to save it i said C: and it said THERE IS NOT ENOUGH MEMORY TO COMPLETE THIS OPERATION. I do not know what else to do. Do you know of another program that i can use other than paint to modify these maps? thanks for you help on this!
