Please tell us the version of the application you are asking about, your OS, Service Pack level and the FULL contents of any error message(s) |

| RE: Should I remove the trial Office in Vista on my new computer? my question is this, when i uninstall Office 60 day trial, does microsoft leave unwanted files in my registry or elsewhere on my harddrive? Would these cause any conflict with another version of Office that I want to install, considering that I have started using the trial version which came with the laptop? |

| Re: Should I remove the trial Office in Vista on my new computer? Uninstall the Trial together with Activation Assistant, then reboot prior to installing any paid for version. If you ran Outlook, the outlook Profile will be retained, any data files will remain No need to fiddle with the registry "enyad" <enyad@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2945240D-ED5A-48CA-A1CB-47181EDFC583@microsoft.com... > my question is this, when i uninstall Office 60 day trial, does microsoft > leave unwanted files in my registry or elsewhere on my harddrive?
