Eliminating page number on the title page.

I am new to Office 2007 and cannot figure out how to adjust the page numbers
so that there is no page number on page 1 and page 2 has the number on it as
one would do on a letter.

In Word 2002 (which is what I'm using) go to 'Insert', then 'Page
Numbers' and you will see a box that you can mark to either have the
page number on the first page, or not. I don't know about later
versions.

Re: Eliminating page number on the title page.

In Word 2007, double-click the vertical ruler (or click the Page Setup
launcher in the lower right corner of the Page Setup section in the Page
Layout ribbon). In the Layout tab, you can click Different first page. This
allows you to disconnect the headers/footer on the first page from those on
subsequent pages, letting you leave the first physical page unnumbered.
