Can anyone tell me where to disable the popup from the Printer icon that
notifies "Your document has been sent to the printer."

After furious head scratching, Schuuch asked:

It's not handled by Office but by the operating system Print Server
Properties. Look up "Print Server" in Windows Help and Support, and pick
Set Print Server properties. (the item you want will be on the advanced tab)
