correction cd

I have install office 2003 standard edition but do not have the cd any
more for this install. I do have 2003 Small Business version. The
problem is I need to install a new excel and word translator but when
the install looks at my cabs or my cd it can not find the right MSI
( i think that was the name). It was looking for one list std.....msi
and the one i have has another name. How can I fix this without the
cd. I trying reinstalling in place with the new cd but did not change
anything. I have not tried uninstalling and reinstalling b/c I am
afraid if might mess up my configs. any ideas.

Re: correction cd

You need a CD that matches the version of key that you have. If you did
*not* get Office preinstalled on your computer, Microsoft will still replace
Office 2003 CDs at a nominal cost.

Re: correction cd

You need the original CD to update an installation that used the original
CD. Otherwise, you can uninstall and re-install with the SB version that you
have.

Whatever the case, make sure you are running a license that you legally own.
