file synchronisation

Hi all,
I'm not sure I am on the right place to ask, but couldn't find a better
one. I'm looking for a tool similar to the former binder: Something that
helps me to synchronize files between two computers in a small
P2P-network and maybe an USB-Stick, too. I use Office Ultimate, so I did
think of using Groove, but it seems to be a bit silly to shuffle all of
that across the internet. I am sure there is a better solution, maybe
for all file types, maybe for office only.

Thanks for advice!

Ina
