| Windows Folder Contents I am attempting to organize a large number of file folders and contents in a shared drive. I need to be able to export the folder tree to a text file so I can catalog the contents. Is there a way to to export a folder with all subfolder names into a usable file format? |

| Re: Windows Folder Contents You are asking in a Microsoft Office newsgroup, so assuming you have a recent version of Microsoft Word, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/InsertFileNames.htm and http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm , but the macro doesn't automatically do subfolders. Or you might try the Printfolders utility linked from Word MVP Graham Mayor's website http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm . kesburns wrote: > I am attempting to organize a large number of file folders and contents in a > shared drive.
