| Groove 2007 Unable to Contact Provisioning Server Hello, Has anyone come across this problem with Groove 2007? We have found other commentary on the web about this, but they go short of providing the actual solution. We are running Windows XP with Groove 2007 that was just installed today. It seems as if Groove 2007 is getting installed without a provisioning server being specified. We want to use the Microsoft public server, which I understand should be http://blugro1gms.groove.microsoft.com/gms.dll. Interestingly, the Relay Server in my system is specified as grooveDNS://backwardscompatibility.groove.net when the research indicates it should be:€ grooveDNS://blugro1relay.groove.microsoft.com I have no idea where the "backwardscompatibility" is coming from on my system. When we go to: Options->Communications Manager->Network Settings The spot that this should be entered is grayed out. Either we are missing where this should be corrected or we have an entirely different problem with the communications. We have turned off all Firewalls. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
