Office 2007 file containing toolbar information

Once you customize the Quick Access toolbars in the Office 2007
programs, what and where is the program file(s) containing that
information that can be put on another computer for the same customized
quick Access toolbars?

Re: Office 2007 file containing toolbar information

The Quick Access Toolbars are stored in files with an extension of .QAT, for example:

Access.Qat
Excel.Qat
Powerpoint.Qat
OlkMailtem.Qat
Word.Qat.

Where they're stored can depend on your Windows verison and configuration.

C:\Documents and Settings\<your ID here>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Office

for Windows XP or Start=>Search for *.QAT
