I am using Microsoft Office Professional 2003 and cannot acess Microsoft
Online from within Word, Excel or any application When I click on Update
Programs I get the message "Error Launching Browser" I would appreciate any
help anyone has to give

Look at your firewall settings, it may be preventing your access.
Put Office in your trusted site area.

In Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options, security tab, highlight trusted
sites, click the sites button, clear "Require server verification (https:) for
all sites in this zone." Type http://office.microsoft.com in the address bar.
Click add.
