how to remove your advertising

Hi... in your office accounting 2007 software, there's a huge banner in the
"spotlight" section trying to give me a free website. How can I remove this
advertising from my page. When I need a free website, you guys will be the
first to know, but until then, I would like to remove the ad... Thanks

Re: how to remove your advertising

Hi Paul,

You may want to post this in the MS Office Accounting discussion group and mention there if you're using the paid Professional
product or the free MS Office Accounting 2007 Express.

RE: how to remove your advertising

The same problems exist in Office Accounting 2008 express. There needs to be
a way to remove these - they are intrusive and people simply do not want to
see themMicrosoft - please provide a method to get rid of thedse advertising
banners.

We already have - the Express version is for a client who does not need the
professional version and certainly doesn't want banner advertising everywhere
you look - it is not necessary and puts people off more than it entices them
to follow through with it. Microsoft removing choice for people is never a
good idea.

But that's my point - Accounting Express is FREE, NO CHARGE. That's the
pay-off - buy the product and you don't get advertising - install the FREE
product and you get advertising. Many other vendors do exactly the same, not
just MS. Qualcom with Eudora Email client for example.

There are plenty of competitors to MS Accounting which don't cost as much,
and don't have advertising AFAIK....
