I loaded 2007, and later looked in my control panel and saw 2003 is still
there. I assumed 2007 would automaticlly delete and remove the older version.
Should I un-install 2003???

Office 2007 will only replace the same programs included with Office 2003 that match ones with Office 2007. If you have programs not included with Office 2007 in Office 2003, you can remove them if you no longer need or use them.
