| Re: link a table cell to another table cell in Word As long as the source cell is a number, you can insert a "Formula" field and set the formula to be =A1 or what ever cell you want, IT only works with numbers from the source cell. See Word Help relating to "formula". davo wrote: > I want the entry in one table cell to automatically appear in another table > cell > > ...in excel I'd just type in my destination cell something like: '= a1, > c5'. > > ...but how can I do it in Word? > > |

| Re: link a table cell to another table cell in Word You may have to use a different method, like a mail merge. Plug the "word" into a "data source" and then point "both locations" to the source. davo wrote: > thats the rub....I want to do it with text...how? > > |
