Firstly do NOT import - you lose data that way. Secondly, copy the pst file to somewhere on the HDD of your (presumably) new computer. Do NOT overwrite any existing file. Remove any Read-Only attribute. Then open Outlook and do File-Open-Outlook Data File and navigate to where you put the file. Then just copy your contact data into the Contacts folder on your new instance of Outlook. HTH |

| Re: Import Outlook Address book 2003 to 2007 Copied to HD, checked properties to make sure it was not read only, opened in File then found & clicked on info - but it did not open or show up any where. What else can I try? Thanks you for your time and help. | Re: Import Outlook Address book 2003 to 2007 I'm soooo happy I've sort of found them! :-) Thanks! The contacts are there BUT - The new problem is that the group is empty. The title is there but nothing of the 50 people/emails. Where did they go, how do I get them back? | Re: Import Outlook Address book 2003 to 2007 By group, do you mean Distribution List? Did you import/export your contacts? If yes, this is one reason the Outlook MVPs recommend not using that option - DLs are often lost. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without reading. After furious head scratching, CJSM asked: | I'm soooo happy I've sort of found them! :-) Thanks!
