Hi,

When I'm opening local office files (doc, xls, ppt), the published app opens
the file, but then freezes for half a minute. After that it's okay again.

First I was thinking printer creation was causing the delay, but I've got
only 3 LAN printers defined on my local workstation. Second I was thinking
the file size was too big, but I'm having it with files as small as a few
KB's.

Then I saw that it only happens with Office 2003. Opening a 5MB local
pdf-file through published adobe reader was no problem. I saw no latency at
all.

When I start the office app directly on the PS server and from there opening
the doc on my local workstation, gives no latency.

I'm using PS4.0 on W2k3 with PNAgent content redirection.

Is there anyone who knows about this?

ps I've posted this on dozen of citrix forums, but no succes.

Update :

The problem only appears when opening local files outside Citrix.

If I open the local file via Citrix, for example with published IE -> My
Computer -> D$ on 'Client'U: then the problem is gone.
