Re: Does office 2003 need to be uninstalled before installing 2007

When you install Office 2007 you will be given the option to (a) update or
(b) have both version on your PC. If you elect to update then Office 2003
will be removed for you.
best wishes

Can I then use office 2003 on an old computer that I am redoing for my
granddaughter?

As long as 2 conditions are met. 1. the 2007 Office is NOT an Upgrade
version, and 2 the 2003 Office in NOT an OEM version.

And you have to have Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista.
