Test or Indicator of Prior Use

Is there a test I can perform to find out if the logged in user has used
Office 2003 before? I guess there will be some files stored or a registry
setting changed that reflects this. Can anyone tell me what gets changed?

I have programmed Agent “Clipit” to introduce a user questionnaire based on
an Access form. Several problems arose when we switched to Office 2003
(Access 11.6566.8036 SP2) most have been overcome. However, I am left with a
situation where if the user has not used Access before, when they OK the User
Name dialog that asks for their Name and Initials, Access quits without
opening the database and they are left with Clipit wondering around an empty
screen.

If I can discover a test or indicator of prior use of Office, then I can
program Clipit to launch or abort as appropriate.

Thanks and best regards
