| SHAREWARE: txt2pdf 10.0 has a preliminary utf8 support We would like to announce txt2pdf 10.0 version. http://www.sanface.com/txt2pdf.html txt2pdf is shareware; it is a very flexible and powerful Perl5 script that converts text files to PDF format files, so you can use it in every operating systems supported by Perl5, including Linux in every its distribution on every processor (e.g. zaurus, os/390, os/400). Which newsgroup? I got this on alt.os.linux, which is not an "opensource" newsgroup, it is a linux newsgroup. While Linux does included lots of opensource stuff, it has never limited itself to purely opensource stuff, and does not demand that users only use opensource stuff (even if some users might like it to). Now this project may breach the licenses of what it uses, I have never studied it. But a bit of evidence would probably be worthwhile to give before making such accusations even if the accusations are lefthanded innuendo. |
