There are a lot simpler methods to accomplish the same ends as Brian Grainger's. I'm not really sure why he wanted to do it that way. Are you looking for a simpler method which doesn't involve partitioning? You might consider wubi for the upcoming Ub 9.10, which Ub is supposed to be very appealing http://snipr.com/sdxeh Steven J. I'm a lady. I use two different flavors of Linux. I don't use PuppyLinux - too easy. I use SuSE and Mandriva - and I didn't need lessons on either. It's easy to learn if you *want* to learn. I suppose now I'll have to install Puppy to see what the big hoohaa is all about. But I don't expect it to be any more difficult than the other two. :) -- Q. Does Usenet help stamp out ignorance? A.
