Open Source Netgear router

This is the first time I have come across an open source item such as
this, and top marks to netgear:

KWGR614
Open source code enables router customization for Linux developers and
hobbyists
Detachable antenna for additional flexibility
Create firmware for specialized applications such as gaming, VoIP,
security or increased signal strength
