Got linux running, now I need a news (group) reader.

Any recommendations for a newsreader that -if possible-
can combine multi-postings and can decrypt yenc.
I am now running backtrack linux which seems to be
slackware based.

Ps where can I download it.

Pan decrypts yEnc, what do you mean by multi-posting?

All news-clients can do multipost, but you shouldn't do that, you will just
generate a load of angry posts when people notice you have done that and you
will get less help, you better go for cross-post.

slrn has support for yenc, others may too, but not sure.

I'm using it now. In fact, I used it just last night to decrypt a good
deal of yEnc data! ;^D

I mean the ability to combine those fragmented posts
in binary newsgroups. They are mostly numbered like
1/7 2/7 ....7/7.

So you want it to decode multipart posts. Pan will do this as well.

That is very nice, now I will try to get it going on
my system. Yesterday ./configure complained about some
missing stuff.
Thanks
