| Help installing VirtualBox in DSL Linux !!! I just got the book "The Official **** Small Linux Book" and want to use it, my idea is to install DSL Linux into a 2GB USB Pendrive. Later install VirtualBox Host in DSL Linux. I should be able to put any .VDI from other VirtualBox and once the USB boot then be able to boot this particular machine. My problem is the libraries required to install VirtualBox is not that easy... and don't seem to be accessible from mydsl repository. :: The USB drive can be bigger and allocate more than 1 VDI. I was thinking to have the partitions: 1 Primary Linux Boot with DSL 256MB 2 SWAP 128MB 3 The rest of the USB in Win FAT 32 Everything start from the idea of: http://www.ngine.de/article/id/8 How to install and run a FULL Windows XP from a USB drive I follow all the steps and did not worked... then thinking a head... why limit to XP in USB if can be loaded any .VDI created and DSL can be loaded all toram should be really fast as long as is possible to install VirtualBox Host in DSL Linux. Please mail be or reply the post if you have some ideas. bernardino.lopez******.com |
