Since your bios supports booting from a CD... the problem may simply be that your CDROM is too old to read the cd that you burned. try popping in a newer 48x CDROM... I know I could not use any of those old 12x (or whatever) CDROMs to boot my machines |

A temporary fix is just to substitute a modern DVD drive, do the install and the re-connect the original drive. Don't forget to load a CD driver and MSCDEX from your boot floppy if you use that method to read the CD without BIOS help. Useful for testing CD drives. -- Best Regards: Baron. |
