Don't worry. I got it covered. I did xfs_check, xfs_repair and badblocks on the XFS partition. Nothing. So the error might be related to RAM if not the mm changes in kernel 2.6.25.9. -- @~@ Might, Courage, Vision, SINCERITY. / v \ Simplicity is Beauty! Still, run "smartctl -a /dev/sdX" (substitute the X) for your harddrive and watch the values. If you install smartmontools, you may as well do scheduled hd checks and have changes reported to your e-mail. -- vista policy violation: Microsoft optical mouse found penguin patterns on mousepad. Is reading about others xfs problems 'better' than using xfs command line tools? No way to compare the two since they are entirely different diagnostic perspectives. I would imagine that reading up on the dialloc dialog would eventually lead you to a more educated decision as to how to pinpoint the xfs errors by reading what others have done. |
