hi all.
i have opensuse 10.3 installed on my computer . i have windows xp
too . but when i repair or re-install my windows ( and i do it
often ) , its files get written over GRUB files on the boot sector and
i no more have the dual boot option . when i start the computer ,
windows comes up and no boot option for suse . what is to be done to
see my linux back when i know its present in my system ??
thanking in anticipation.

install a new grub bootloader ;-)

so you put the openSUSE install cd/dvd
start installation --> do "repair mode" --> boot up a installed OS
then you will booting up the installed openSUSE ,
from there you can ran yast - system - bootloader
