Thanks a lot. BTW, I *really* should have included a comment about
how very good your replies were - sorry I didn't.

Didn't realize slrn can wrap - I'll add the needed options to the
rc. Thank you. I did read your post using the left and right arrow
keys.

That's a long rant and I haven't time to read it - nor judge it. I understand
that the 70 chars thing began due to temninal screen widths. I consider it
needed still if for one reason alone: the entire world isn't using the same
tools (applications), OS or even a GUI.

Looking forward to reading more of your posts.

Thank you.

My thought is that even an 8 bit computer like a C=64 would have no
trouble wrapping long lines at the time of reading. I'll still pre-wrap
to be compatible with old software.

Not having success using the W key to wrap (a built-in for slrn).

Nor can I get functional:

set wrap_flags 7
set wrap_method 2

.... have to return to it later as I have to go to a job.
