Problem mounting Creative Zen Nano Plus

Hi,
after reading several reviews I have bought mentioned player, mostly
because of good cooperation with linux.
After connecting it into USB port problem looks like this:

dmesg
--------
usb 1-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3
usb 1-2: unable to read config index 0 descriptor/start
usb 1-2: chopping to 0 config(s)

/var/log/messages
-----------------------
Jul 4 19:15:08 emmo kernel: usb 1-2: new high speed USB device using
ehci_hcd and address 3
Jul 4 19:15:35 emmo kernel: usb 1-2: no configuration chosen from 0 choices

Player works fine in Ubuntu 7.04. Some noname card reader works fine on
my box. What should be the problem? Please, help.

I'm running Debian Lenny with kernel 2.60.20.6.

Regards,
emmo

Re: Problem mounting Creative Zen Nano Plus

Hi,
no, this player should work as a regular usb mass storage device (and
actually works on the mentioned ubuntu). I have partially solved my
problem by unloading ehci_hcd module (modprobe -r ehci_hcd), and then I
can mount it and use it as regular mass storage device (on the
uhci_hcd). But in this situation it use USB 1.1 only. Any ideas?

Regards,
emmo
