| Problem mounting Creative Zen Nano Plus Hi, after reading several reviews I have bought mentioned player, mostly because of good cooperation with linux. After connecting it into USB port problem looks like this: dmesg -------- usb 1-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3 usb 1-2: unable to read config index 0 descriptor/start usb 1-2: chopping to 0 config(s) /var/log/messages ----------------------- Jul 4 19:15:08 emmo kernel: usb 1-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3 Jul 4 19:15:35 emmo kernel: usb 1-2: no configuration chosen from 0 choices Player works fine in Ubuntu 7.04. Some noname card reader works fine on my box. What should be the problem? Please, help. I'm running Debian Lenny with kernel 2.60.20.6. Regards, emmo |

| Re: Problem mounting Creative Zen Nano Plus Hi, no, this player should work as a regular usb mass storage device (and actually works on the mentioned ubuntu). I have partially solved my problem by unloading ehci_hcd module (modprobe -r ehci_hcd), and then I can mount it and use it as regular mass storage device (on the uhci_hcd). But in this situation it use USB 1.1 only. Any ideas?
