The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (movie)

(no spoilers are here) I saw the film "Fantastic Four: Rise of the
Silver Surfer" today, it was quite good, better than I expected.
Anyhow, the Nokia handheld wifi PC that uses linux (I think this image
is the model, I have seen and used it at a friend's house once, quite
cool)
http://www.digitaltechnews.com/photo...okia_770_3.jpg
figures prominently in several scenes in the Fantastic Four movie,
which I thought was cool. (Linux also is mentioned as the system to
replace the servers in the FBI/CIA headquarters by the lead actor in
the movie "Breach" that I rented the other night),
Gotta love linux in the movies! Great PR for Tux!
:) Beowulf

That's not the point. Do you know the name of this newsgroup?

I do.

If you can't stand one off-topic post not marked as such, go get
another hobby. One might even think you've gotten soft and too touchy
feely for this newsgroup.

Just another indicator that Linux is going mainstream. Thanks for the
post.

His post was about linux, this newsgroup is about linux. So what's the
problem?

Why is it OT when it has specific references to Linux and a link to a
linux device within the body?

Did you actually read the ****ing post?

Some people do find it interesting. "OT" not needed, the posting was
about linux,
I guess you did not read the post. DanC your routine is so incredibly
boring
and unoriginal it does not even phase me any more. Get a life. Of
course I
expect a huge ranting reply from you to this, filled with vulgar words
and
assaults on character. I will not respond and you wil only continue
to
hammer nails into your own coffin that holds your shameful corpse some
might call human.

> "Ubuntu" -- an African word, meaning "Slackware is too hard for me".

Wrong. Ubuntu means 'Humanity to Others', but I can see where that
concept eludes you

Whoops, the article itself is not as recent as I thought, I saw the
date at the top of the website and took that for the ezine article's
date. The Nokia 770 handheld is of course already out and available--
in fact I really think I am going to buy one it is so cool, I have
tried it out from a friend that has one (nice anodized black finish,
no Microsoft OS in it at all, wifi connection to the internet
(Firefox), home PCs, etc

That's kind of a stretch, dontcha think?

His post was *not* about Linux, it was about a movie.

It's nice (I used it for my graduation project) but I do miss my
Zaurus' keyboard when working on the 770. On the other hand, the 770's
built-in WiFi is a very nice addition - I wish my Zaurus had that.
