A Unix shell feature which Microsfot incorporated into cmd.exe back when
they were developing Xenix, another variety of Unix.

Ah Xenix... the irony of Linux, Microsft was the first company to try to
create an x86 Unix, failed, sold the product to SCO who succeeded in
creating the product but failed to market it.
