I'd dearly love to learn to fly. Looked into it once - schooling that is - and found the expense to great while caring for my family's needs. Someday I hope to do that. Sky dived once though. Father was a WII B-17, 24 and 29 pilot before becoming a professor of mechanical engineering. Mother taught art and art history. They've both gone on now. Nonetheless, I did tattoo one of the nose art girls (right side) from the Memphis Belle upon my deltoid in memoriam to them. > Nonetheless, your welcome to join then, or perhaps stop by at a later time. Also, I understand there are some great skate stops to hit. More than 160 beer and all on tap? It's Nirvana ... -- sk8r-365 http://goodbye-microsoft.com/ |

Maybe - /I/ had to think for a moment about it! > This type of employment does allow me to > travel by air more easily (and cheaply) as long as their is space > available, which is getting rare these days. I had an ex-girlfriend who worked for an airline, and I enjoyed the benefits of "space available" flights all over the planet. A wonderful privilege! >>> Consider joining Chris and I when he visits the Seattle area ... I used to work in the power generation industry, and it was impossible to get time off during the summer as that's when they have all their plant closures - in Northern Europe (with our less extreme climate) power consumption drops radically in the summer months. > Nonetheless, your welcome to join then, or perhaps stop by at a later > time. I find that in a pub over here with good beer, you seldom see people drinking the chemically produced rubbish! Chris |
