I sure hope anyone out there can help! I bought a Dell Laptop for my daughter last December and it keeps freezing. She doesn't even have to be doing anything in it. We removed any and every program she had added on her own so we were down to what the system came with. That didn't help. We tried running several anti-virus software programs, still didn't work. Finally, we were willing to loose everything on the computer so we reinstalled the software disc the laptop came with (four times) and it STILL freezes. Am I missing something? Is there a trick? We even purchased a new disc directly from Dell thinking the one we had was corrupt and that didn't work either.
Does anyone have any advice? It is still under warranty but they tell me that it will not be covered because it's a software issue.
