I have another kind of general questions.

How do worms, Trojans and virus work?

I know their bad! I know to always keep my anti-virus on and up-to-date. I also know never to enter information on a non-secure site.
I know that they are programs that look for certain files.

What files do they look for?

How can I check to see if secure information is not stored in these files?

How are they created? How do I know if one slipped pass my anti-virus?
(like how do I tell the difference between the signs of a worm, trojan or virus and my computer full of junk)

What makes a site secure? Is there a way I can make a site secure?
