| IE8 Does Not Use Saved Passwords and Emails/Usernames I use Internet Explorer, 8.0.6001 in Vista Home Premium, SP2. Internet Explore saves my usernames/emails and passwords, yet it never uses them to sign me into the websites; never. I have "passwords" unticked so they will not be removed when I clear the browsing history; this does not help. I have also deleted the passwords along with the browsing history, closed Internet Explorer, then began the process of saving the passwords and usernames/emails again; nothing. Is there anything else I can do? Thank you. -- |

| Re: IE8 Does Not Use Saved Passwords and Emails/Usernames Success again! Eric Law's IEInternals was very helpful. I had IE configured to delete saved passwords and cookies when I closed it or deleted its browsing history. Thank you Singapore for the informative post. -- "Singapore Computer Service" <singaporecomputerusenet_1@bootstrike.com> wrote in message news:uADi3fIfKHA.2164@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl...
