Max / Restore & Administrator

I have Vista Home Premium and using IE 8. I have two annoyances. Other than
that I love IE 8.

1. IE 8 opens as a small browser instead of Max regardless of how I closed
out. Is there a way to correct this? It also affects the way Outlook opens.

2. I am the only one to use this computer and do not use a log in or
password and I am the Administrator. Every so often with no particular web
site I get a msg saying I have to be an Administrator to continue, so I need
to log off and sign in as Administrator. Since I am already the Administrator
and don't have a log in, this is not possible. After continually clicking out
and refreshing the page I may get lucky and the page finally open, other
times I just give up. Anyway to fix this?

Apreciate any info

Use an Internet Shortcut to launch IE; then you can right-click Properties,
Run: Maximized.

Right-click on the Taskbar icon and use its Run as Administrator menu item.
