| IE 8 Load Issues I have never had problems with IE loading but IE 8 has issues. About half the time I use it, it doesn't load. This is on multiple machines that I have at different locations. Others I know have complained of the same thing. I click IE and it just sits there 'Connecting' but the webpage no matter what it is does not open. What is the problem with IE 8 and will it be fixed soon? Until then, I am using Firefox or Chrome. |

| Re: IE 8 Load Issues Shall just guess what version of Windows you have (including the service pack number)? Do you have the same experience when you start Internet Explorer from the 'no add-ons' icon? If you have XP: Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons) If you have Vista or 7: Start > type Internet Explorer in the Start Search box > click Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons) Do you have the same experience after you have reset Internet Explorer settings? "How to Reset Internet Explorer Settings" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737 Problems with Internet Explorer can also be caused by by malicious software ('malware') that you have unwittingly installed on your computer. --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est sjonessc wrote: > I have never had problems with IE loading but IE 8 has issues. | Re: IE 8 Load Issues Win 7, Win XP Pro and Win XP Media Edition are the OS I am running on different machines. I will try starting with no add ons a few times and see if the issue continues. Will also try resetting and get back to this post.
