IE will not start..

My IE will not start, therefor i cant update, and every time i try too
update.. the system tells me that i have a newer version...

Use Automatic Updates. You don't need IE to get updates that way.

Sounds like you have multiple problem symptoms that you could elaborate on.

Hi,
1. Which version of Windows? (Including SP level- SP1, SP2 ,etc.) e.g Vista
SP1, XP SP3.
2. Which version of Internet Explorer? (From IE> Help> About)
3. Start Internet Explorer without add-ons by right-clicking the IE icon on
the desktop.
Choose Start without add-ons.
or
from Start> Programs> Accessories> System tools> Internet Explorer (no
add-ons)
If the problem goes away, you have an incompatible browser add-on installed.
