Re: App Crash

Do you have the same experience when you start Internet Explorer from
the 'no add-ons' icon?

Start > type Internet Explorer in the Search box > click Internet
Explorer (No Add-Ons)

Do you have the same experience after you have reset Internet Explorer
settings?

"How to Reset Internet Explorer Settings"
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

Problems with Internet Explorer can also be caused by by malicious
software ('malware') that you have unwittingly installed on your computer.

Re: App Crash

Hi Bill and Leonard.

I know that error signature well, but it has not occurred on my Vista system
for some time, suggesting that it is an Addon problem that may be corrected
by checking for updates for any toolbar addons installed. I never found a
cause (not in the error stack) so my suggestion is by innuendo.

Although I am not sure, I have a suspicion that it may involve the AOL
browser or the AOL toolbar.

The update urls are

toolbar.google.com
toolbar.live.com
toolbar.aol.com
toolbar.yahoo.com

(that covers the major toolbar vendors)

Bill....

You can send us a list of your Addons by going to the Addons Manager, Sort
your Addons by type and then select the Addons of type Toolbar.

Then copy and paste the selection back here.

I would be very interested in nailing the cause of the crash.

Regards.
