Re: Order of items in 'Add to Favorites' list

It is the favs "add to" menu that doesn't match the favs menu order.

Re: Order of items in 'Add to Favorites' list

Hi,
Windows XP or Vista?

Possible solutions:
1. Browse to the Favorites folder at (in XP) C:\Documents and
settings\username\Favorites. Right-click in that folder and choose Arrange
by name. In Vista the folder is at C:\Users\username\Favorites.

2. Create a System Restore point or backup the registry

Copy the text below (between the dotted lines) and paste in into a new text
(Notepad) document. Save it as "reset favorites order.txt". Rename that file
to "reset favorites order.reg" Right-click> merge that file. Restart the
computer.

Re: Order of items in 'Add to Favorites' list

It happens fairly often when a web search leads to a thread in the Microsoft
"communities" (newsgroups to you and me.) The good news is that Love Music
tried a search before posting the question. ;-)
