My internet explorer will not open mpeg. It wants to save it. Can I change
this??

If the link is to an .mpeg (www.domanename.com/filename.mpeg) that is correct
behavior although it may also offer to open it in the default app.

If the sound is supposed to play in the web page then it must be properly
accessed through an embed or object tag. If the choice of embed or object is
implemented through JavaScript, then running JavaScript must be allowed. A
plug-in must be enabled for .mpeg files, if more than one plug-in (or multiple
versions of the same plug-in) is enabled for the same file type the conflict may
prevent the file from playing.

Include your Windows and browser versions and what plug-ins are installed. Also
a link to a page that displays the problem. Some websites are written so as to
only work in one browser (the one the author uses).

You know, there actually ARE real problems that YOU
may not be able to reproduce on YOUR computer.

Details help a lot in troubleshooting. Maybe YOU like to do shotgun
troubleshooting where you throw out a thousand possibilities to
overwhelm the OP so they feel they can do nothing to solve their
*particular* problem.

Try this: Start Windows Media Player > Tools > Options > File Types > CHECK
MPEG with a white background (not grey) > OK

If the menu bar does not appear, hit the Alt key on your keyboard.
