I have IE8 Windows Vista Home Premium SP2. I had uninstalled Adobe shockwave
player and then tried to reinstall it. And when I hit the download button
instead of the shockwave downloading it has a little red x in the left had
corner of the box and I can not install it. I do not know if I am in the
right place but I hope someone can help. Oh I uninstalled it from add and
remove program.

You can right-click one of these links and choose to "save-as" then download it.

I already have flash player I am trying to download shockwave player.

Thank you so much what you gave me worked. I just took the first one but
unchecked the google bar I did not want it. But a window came up and said
error something about dll I am not sure but it gave me three items to choose
ignore, retry, or abort I did ignore and it downloaded. So I hope it is ok
that I did that. But it did download and it is in my add and remove
