| Re: Is there a known issue with IE8 causing slow desktoppaint/redraw? MANY thanks to the OP for this thread. I thought I was losing my mind after my desktop went berzerk. I have an NVidia GeForce card and an auto update installed IE8, but it was right before I left for vacation so I didn't really notice the issues immediately. We replaced the driver and eventually the video card and the issue continued. I decided I would just have to live with it and then I came across your post. I uninstalled IE8 this morning and my computer is working SO much better. thanks again for posting! Deanna      |
