| Command bar icon resizing in IE8 After installing IE8 over IE7, despite Microsoft's instructions for customizing the command bar icons to make them larger (or smaller): <http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/fbdd2c31-bbff-42d2-8f67-79a52f80b35c1033.mspx#EGF> By default, the Command bar icons are small to allow more room for content in Internet Explorer. If you're using a high-resolution screen, or need a little extra help to see the icons, you can change them to a larger size. Here's how: 1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer. 2. Do one of the following: . • In Internet Explorer 8, right-click the Command bar, point to Customize, and then click Use Large Icons. • In Internet Explorer 7, right-click the Command bar, and then click Use Large Icons. To make the icons small, follow these steps and click Use Large Icons again. After installation of IE8 there is no "Use Large Icons" choice under Customize as was previously the case with IE7. Any ideas? |
